Frequently Asked Questions

What if I need all three certifications: BLS, ACLS, AND PALS?
We are happy to accomodate you in any way. The classes will still be completed in a timely, convenient manner with everthing you need brought right to you. Full courses are $400 per person, $350 per person for groups of three or more. If you only require a skills checkoff for all three certifications, the cost is $175 per person, or $150 per person for groups of 3 or more.

How can I get my American Heart Association certification online?
American Heart Association offers blended versions of their BLS, ACLS and PALS certification classes. You can take the class portion of your certification course online but you are still required to perform a hands-on skills session to complete the course and receive your certification.

Do I need to purchase a book for my online class?
No. All materials needed for completion of your online course are made available during the online portion of the class. You will have access to these materials for one year.

Is there a difference in certifications if I choose the blended or full course?
No. You will receive the exact same certification either way.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of students required for a class?
No! We do, however, offer a discount for groups of 3 or more.

When will we get our cards/certification?
E-cards are distributed within 24 hours of our appointment. You will receive an email with a link to "Claim Your E-Card". From there, simply complete the survey and your card will appear as a PDF file to be saved, printed, or emailed to your employer.

It's been longer than 24 hours, where is my card?
Please check your junk folder. E-cards are distributed from the address "eCards@heart.org" and can sometimes get automatically routed there. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us by phone, text, or email.

Do new certification and renewals need to have separate classes?
No. Our mission is to train your team to work effectively as one. Real life situations will always have responders with varying levels of experience. We teach our clients how to work as a unit, utilizing everyone’s individual strengths.

Are you a certified American Heart Association training site?
Yes. Upon completion of your training, you will receive an American Heart Association certification.

Can I take the blended option if I've never taken the class before?
Yes. The blended option is for both initial and renewal certifications. The course is the same whether you are a first time student or seasoned provider.

Can I complete my certification 100% online?
No. All legitimate American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certification training options require a physical skills checkoff. Be advised that 100% online certifications may not meet the requirements of your employer.

Do you have a certification option if I'm currently in quarantine or do not feel comfortable being around others?
We can make arrangements for these rare occassions. Please contact us to discuss your options.

Are you able to tailor the training to our unique setting and needs?
Of course! We present site-specific medical response scenarios that promote a team response concept in your unique environment.

Are there additional fees for traveling to my location?
Sometimes. We are based in Indianapolis, Indiana, so extensive travel may incur an additional fee. Travel fees rarely exceed the cost of 1-2 additional participants.

Do I still have to pay for participants who cancel?
We know things can change, so you are always welcome to adjust the number of participants. If the total number of participants drops below 3, you may be subject to pay the private course amount. Please inform us as soon as possible of any changes.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal, checks, and all major credit cards. Participants may pay separately, if necessary.
